John Van ZytveldJohn came to the Trust in January 1996. In his capacity as Senior Program Director, he oversees all grantmaking programs. John has a Ph.D. in Physics, and prior to coming to the Trust, he spent 28 years as Professor of Physics at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He lives in Vancouver with his wife, Carol. They have three grown children. |

Terry StokesbaryTerry joined the Trust in October 1997, coming from the national organization Young Life, where he served since 1974. In addition to handling proposals from a variety of human service nonprofits, Terry provides leadership for many of the Trust’s enrichment activities for Christian ministries and nonprofit human service organizations. Terry and his wife Becky live in Vancouver and have two grown children. |

Janice W. KennedyJan joined the Trust in September of 1998. A former business owner in Portland and Gresham, she has wide experience as a volunteer and on nonprofit boards in Oregon and Washington. She provides expertise to the Trust in the arts, education, and health and medicine. Jan is the general editor of the highly acclaimed Messages series produced by the Trust. She lives in Washougal, and has two daughters and three grandsons. |

Christopher (Kit) J. GillemKit came to the Trust September 1998, before which he was Director of Development with The Nature Conservancy of Oregon. Kit's expertise at the Trust includes arts and culture, non-traditional education, and environmental issues. Kit is a recognized leader in philanthropic and non-profit organizational development. He is an Oregon native and lives in Portland with his wife Deborah. |

Barton A. HadderBart came to the Trust in mid-2001 after serving as a life sciences teacher at the middle and high school levels. Bart provides expertise to the Trust in both formal and informal K-12 science-related education. He also handles proposals from a variety of organizations that have programs for young people. Bart and his wife Jackie have two grown children and live in the Vancouver area. |

David L. ColemanDave joined the Trust April 2005 after a long professional career with the national para-church organization, Youth for Christ. In that capacity his experiences were wide ranging, including strategic planning and leadership training. In addition to guiding the development and implementation of a Trust initiative designed to attract and nurture leaders a wide variety of Christian organizations, Dave will handle proposals related to organizational leadership and youth organizations. Dave and his wife Joyce have three grown children and live in Lakewood, Washington. |
