Grant Application Overview

The Trust has several types of grant application forms with accompanying guidelines, instructions, and in some cases sample materials. It is important to remember that you must submit a Letter of Inquiry to begin the application process for General Grants and Scientific Research Grants. To help you get started you can start at "Interested in Applying for a Grant? Before you Start."

Letter of Inquiry

Upon acceptance of your Letter of Inquiry, we will send you instructions and a password for the General Application Form. Without the password, you cannot access this application. Learn more about writing your Letter of Inquiry. A password is not required to access the Scientific Research Application Form.

General Grants

Grants include areas of interest in Education, Health & Human Services, and Arts & Culture.

General Scientific Research Grant

Grants support research in the sciences, medicine, and engineering. Exceptions include very specific Focused Programs Grant areas in the sciences.

Focused Program Grants in Science

Focused Program Grants should be examined by interested parties to see if their needs can be met by one of these; if not, the General Scientific Research program may be appropriate.
