General Scientific Research Grants
Application
The Scientific Research Grant Application is to be used for most research support requests in the sciences, medicine, and engineering. The application form for submitting a proposal in this program area may be downloaded for convenient use.
If your organization has not submitted a request for research grant support to the Trust in the last five years, you must provide a Letter of Inquiry before completing the actual application. No Letter of Inquiry is required if your organization has submitted a request to the Trust within the last five years. You will find it valuable, however, to read the Scientific Research Grant Application Guidelines and Required Attachments.
Alternatively, you may contact Dr. John Van Zytveld, Senior Program Director at Murdock Trust by email or call 360.694.8415 to discuss your project.
There are no deadlines for the submission of applications. Trustees meet quarterly to consider applications for these types; a period of six to nine months after receipt of the formal proposal is normally required for action to be taken, however.
