General Scientific Research Grants
We prefer projects and programs in the natural sciences whose main objective is the acquisition of new knowledge. Training students in conducting research is an important consideration.
Examples of grants that have been given in this program area in the last few years can be viewed in the Grants Awarded section of this website or use the Search Recent Grants to the left.
In the area of scientific research, organizations that wish to apply for grants should examine the Scientific Research Grant Guidelines to determine if their needs are best met by a general scientific research application, in which case the Scientific Research Grant Application form should be used.
If your organization has not submitted a general Scientific Research Grant Application to the Trust in the last five years, before proceeding, please contact Murdock Trust by email or call 360.694.8415.
