Mentoring Experience

The Mentoring Experience is a Christian Leadership initiative that trains and equips an annual cohort of leaders in the art of mentoring. The program is about training emerging and veteran leaders to become skillful and intentional mentors and mentorees.

Each year, 50 leaders are chosen by the Murdock Trust from from multiple organizations and institutions of higher learning. Once invited to become part of the Mentoring Experience, members of this cohort:

• Receive seven days of formal training from a faculty of experienced mentors.
• Explore and establish a personal “constellation of mentoring relationships.”
• Complete pre- and post-assignments including a reading list.
• Receive encouragement and support from a Senior Murdock Mentor to whom the mentoree is accountable.
• Build a lasting network of colleagues and friends.
