Leadership Development
The Christian Leadership Initiative’s vision is to address leadership and mission-related challenges facing Christian organizations. The Initiative convenes leaders, educators, and advisors in order to help them meet the critical and persistent leadership needs faced by Northwest organizations. The Trust’s goal is to bolster organizational efforts by developing more effective leaders who are better prepared to serve mission-based organizations and their communities.

Christian Leadership Advance Conference
The conference is an annual event hosted each November by the Murdock Trust. Its purpose is to connect ministry leaders, educators, and trainers in a two-day gathering that promotes Christian ministry leadership development.
Vision and Call Internship Program
The Vision and Call Internship is a special grants program for selected Christian ministries in which college students or recent graduates are placed in an experiential ministry internship affording them an opportunity to consider full-time vocational ministry. Mentoring Experience
The Mentoring Experience selects, trains, and equips a cohort of Pacific Northwest leaders in the art of mentoring. Each year, the Mentoring Experience chooses this new group of emerging and veteran leaders for mentorship training, working toward a long-range goal of advancing a mentoring culture within the Pacific Northwest.
Women in Leadership
Women in Leadership is a semi-annual one-day conference that offers a forum for women in leadership positions to network for professional development and support.
Executive and Board Workshop
These workshops will afford the opportunity for focused leadership development for executives and governance boards. Planning is underway. The Murdock Trust has obtained permission from Pacific Continental for the article in their Nonprofit Series, "Creating an Effective Board of Directors."
