Overview of the Enrichment Programs
The Murdock Trust offers non-grant enrichment programs in science education, leadership development, and organizational capacity building. Each of the programs supplement our grant-making efforts, and all are motivated by the Trust’s desire to enrich the quality of life in the Pacific Northwest.
Science Education
Enrichment programs in science education add value to the work done by secondary school teachers and higher education faculty and their students. Our science education enrichment programs include Trust-hosted and Trust-sponsored conferences.
Leadership Development
The Murdock Trust maintains a long-standing commitment to the work of building leadership skills within faith-based ministries. This support has led us to establish Christian Leadership Initiative as a way to assist Trust-supported ministries and those they impact.
Fundraising and Capacity Building
Fundraising and capacity building are crucial to the long-term sustainability of non-profit organizations. To meet this need, the Trust sponsors training workshops that effect fundraising, facilities planning, and board development within Pacific Northwest organizations.
Roundtable Conversations
Roundtable Conversations sponsored by the Trust gather leaders from a variety of different disciplines to address issues important to grant makers and grant applicants. Each roundtable is customized with regard to content and participants, and may be interdisciplinary or specific to a certain sector.
