Growth & Facilities Workshop

The Planning for Your Organization’s Growth and Facilities workshop is designed for organizations who wish to build or renovate facilities and plan to use a major capital campaign to raise the necessary funding.

The workshop is led by a nationally known consultant who specializes in capital project planning. Participating organizations learn more about:

  • Understanding their organization’s financial and fund-raising capacity
  • Matching appropriate facilities to their program needs
  • Understanding the cost implications of an expanded program
  • Capital campaigns
  • Project budgeting
  • When and how to use (and not) use debt
  • Creating a follow-up action plan

Organizations are invited to participate in the workshop and must bring a team that includes their CEO, program leadership, development director, and board representation.

The workshop is appropriate for organizations undertaking new service centers, historic renovations, arts venues, community centers, and camp facilities.
